I recently went in for a teeth cleaning, and I was so pleasantly surprised at my experience. From the moment I walked into the office, the environment was a very clean and welcoming one. The waiting area was nicely set up and it was very cute and comfortable. The receptionist was very patient, kind, and friendly. That was a commonality with the rest of the staff, everyone was friendly and kind– you could tell that they truly enjoyed doing their job. As for the actual teeth cleaning itself, Dr. McElroy was excellent. He clearly was a trained professional that enjoys what he does. Not only was he professional, but he was very patient and kind as well. He took his time and actually was willing to take time to make sure I felt comfortable through out the whole procedure. Today I had my first visit with Dr. McElroy and he was Fantastic and super nice, He explained everything thoroughly. The staff was really nice, as soon as you walk in the door and greets you with a smile and gets you checked in right away. The Hygienist that I had for my cleaning was really nice. At the end of my visit they went over my treatment plan with me and made sure I knew what I would be getting done the next few visits. Can’t say enough good things about this office! Dr. McElroy has done 4 dental crowns on me, as well as an inlay. He has also done 4 crowns on my husband. His work is exceptional and I love his bedside manner. He actually truly cares about his patients and takes the time to discuss and explain the treatment needed! He is gentle and thorough, and very concerned about patient comfort.
The office is state of the art. Very clean and modern. The Dr. uses intra oral photographs to explain and show the treatment needed. I am a visual person, so that is very important to me. To understand WHY I need the treatment matters to me. The staff is pleasant and professional. They have handled all of the insurance billings with no problems, and I appreciate not having to deal with any of that.
The best thing about having crowns done is that the crowns are done in office! That is the best part! ONE appointment, and no yucky impressions. You go in with a broken tooth and leave with a whole one – no waiting for “the lab” to make your crown. Dr. McElroy custom designs it right there in his office. LOVE IT!-H. W.

Recently I visited Smiles By Design in order to fix my two front teeth that had been greatly damaged from childhood events. Both of my front teeth were split in half due to several accidents and I have always dreaded getting them redone. When they were originally repaired numerous years ago, the doctor restored them with composite bonding material but over the years they discolored. Therefore, I was in search of a doctor who could restore my two front teeth to the ideal pearly white color and tooth shape. I determined that Dr. McElroy fit my criteria and allowed him to proceed to restore my two front teeth. After over 5 years of hiding my smile because of my teeth discolored, I am more than happy to smile for anyone now. Dr. McElroy provided me with two luminous white porcelain veneers and a whitening session that has improved my smile greatly, while granting me back the confidence to smile at all times again. To say I am grateful for this procedure is an understatement and I am excited for my next appointment with Smiles by Design.-Brandon M.
