The Dentist
Dr. Greg McElroy graduated from California State University Fullerton, then he earned his dental degree at Georgetown University in Washington, DC. As one of San Diego's leading cosmetic and restorative dentists, Dr. McElroy and his dedicated team at Smiles By Design are committed to being at the forefront of cosmetic dentistry techniques and technology. Dr. McElroy has completed studies at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies and studied nation wide with top clinicians such as Dr. Bill Dorfman of ABC's Extreme Makeover. He is also a certified member and graduate of the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation. Dr. McElroy has practiced in San Diego for 21 years and has lived in Encinitas for 12 years.
As a father of four, Dr. McElroy has coached children's sports programs in the area, and his children attend local schools. Away from the office, he enjoys riding motorcycles, watching his kids' sports, and spending time with his wife and family.

Susan, Office Manager

Susan has been in dentistry for 20 years, and she has served as office manager for Dr. McElroy for seven years. She attended Missouri Western State College, Bryan Institute, and the AAOMS anesthesia program. After hours, Susan enjoys time with husband, Jaime, as well as gardening, swimming, and public speaking. She is also a member of Toast Masters International.
Seanna, RDH
"I treasure the friendships I form with patients and the knowledge I can pass on."
Seanna has been a registered dental hygienist for three years, two of which she has served Dr. McElroy's patients. She attended Walla Walla College, Irvine Valley College, and Crafton College, and she graduated from Loma Linda University. As a member of the CDHA and ADHA, Seanna stays abreast of the latest developments in dental hygiene. She enjoys kickboxing, painting, and traveling in her free time.
Jenna-Office Assistant
Jenna graduated from the dental assisting program at Mesa College. Jenna works with our patients to ensure that they receive help with making their appointments, insurance and treatment. Jenna enjoys walking her dog, Duke, cooking and trips to the desert and river.
Charisse-RDA
Charisse began her dental career fourteen years ago in New Mexico. In 2000, she moved to San Diego and continued to work in many different aspects of dentistry. Charisse enjoys the long lasting friendships she has made with co-workers, doctors and patients. Charisse enjoys hiking, going to the beach and time with her family and friends.
Brooke-RDH

Brooke graduated from Fresno City College where she received her degree as a Registered Dental Hygienist. Brooke is committed to her profession with continuing education which helps our patients with their dental health. Brooke enjoys outdoor activities, reading and spending time with her family and friends.
